Recently, I fancied getting away for a bit. It's always nice to explore a new place and not have to think about university assignments and all that boring stuff. So me and my boyfriend treated ourselves to a few day away in Amsterdam...

I think for the first two days I was in shock if I'm honest. Not necessarily in a negative way, I just found it a very odd place. It's beautiful, in its own quaint little way. But for a short while, I found it difficult to look past the so very obvious sex shops, girls in the red light district and the blatant use of drugs in the infamous "coffee shops".

Life in Your Twenties | What I've learnt in 21 years

Well, here I am in my twenties. The best years of your life, supposedly. Although they say that about primary school. Then they say it about secondary school. Then they say it about university. Then your twenties. Then your thirties. Then, after all that, they say life only begins at 40.

It's all too much if you ask me. But in my 21 years living as a master of procrastination and being way too stubborn for my own good, I've actually learnt something. So in no particular order, here are 21 things I've learnt in my 21 years;

First blog post back

So here we are, a fresh new look and all of the old posts deleted, so let's try this blog malarky again...

Some of you may know me as Gabxo, but I figured if I was going to take a second go at this, I'd take the opportunity to change it up and use a different blog name, different URL and a new blog look - although I got bored half way through and it's not exactly my biggest strength so a new header and a tidy up here and there will have to do, sorry!

So what's changed? To be honest, I just wanted to try again and not give up this time. My blog was doing well in my eyes previously and I just abandoned it for no good reason. I'm trying to better myself this year and blogging always was something that made me happy, so here I am, currently sat having puppy cuddles, a cup of tea and starting up my blog again.
